{"id":33,"date":"2020-06-08T08:40:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-08T06:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mitarbeiter.fh-kaernten.at\/wolfgangscherr\/?p=33"},"modified":"2020-06-18T19:15:52","modified_gmt":"2020-06-18T17:15:52","slug":"laygo-works","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mitarbeiter.fh-kaernten.at\/wolfgangscherr\/2020\/06\/08\/laygo-works\/","title":{"rendered":"LAYGO works!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After I got the <a href=\"https:\/\/mitarbeiter.fh-kaernten.at\/wolfgangscherr\/2020\/04\/02\/bag-working-in-the-cuas-environment\/\">BAG2 tutorial working<\/a>, I decided to have a look at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ucb-art\/laygo\" target=\"_blank\">LAYGO<\/a>, which is an alternate layout generator (the preferred layout generator in BAG2 is called XBase). Some designers at Infineon (industry partner in this project) mentioned it might be better to use for non-finfet (planar, SOI) technologies. So I gave it a try. There is also some tutorial <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ucb-art\/laygo_cds_ff_mpt\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I got the set up working and the first thing I tried was the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ucb-art.github.io\/laygo\/example\/logic.html\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;logic family generator&#8221;<\/a> freely available by Berkeley for downlad.
